The National Design Triennial 2003
"In this age . . . where extravagant square footage can often mean the
death of artistry, Dennis Wedlick is an anomaly: a modern-minded,
tradition-appreciative architect whose spatial philosophy continues to
be that less is truly more."
-- Mitchell Owens, exhibition catalog, "Inside Design Now," National
Design Triennial, Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian
Dennis Wedlick was selected by The Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt,
National Design Museum to participate in the 2003 National Design
Triennial: Inside Design Now. The Triennial honors designers - including
innovators in the graphic arts, set design, architecture, interiors,
fashion, and more - who are pushing the boundaries of design. The show
opened on April 22, 2003 and closes on January 25, 2004.
